A nicotine-free pouch is a small oral pouch made without nicotine. Products can share the same format while containing very different ingredients. Some are sold for flavour, some contain caffeine, and some contain vitamins or other ingredients. Check the individual product rather than assuming every 0mg tin is the same.
This guide is written by kip, a UK brand developing nicotine-free food supplement pouches. It explains the format, the details worth comparing and our own pre-order offer.
Nicotine-free and tobacco-free: what is the difference?
These descriptions answer two separate questions. A tobacco-free pouch can still contain nicotine. A nicotine-free pouch is made without nicotine. Look for a clear nicotine statement and read the ingredient list; the shape of the tin does not tell you what is inside it.
kip contains neither nicotine nor tobacco. It is a food supplement, not a nicotine-replacement medicine or a product sold to help people stop using nicotine.
Are nicotine-free pouches also caffeine-free?
Not necessarily. Caffeine and nicotine are different ingredients. For example, the Northerner UK nicotine-free range includes products with caffeine as well as products without it. That listing was checked on 24 September 2026; individual products and ranges can change.
kip Quiet Mint contains no caffeine or melatonin. If you are comparing products for your evening routine, check those details separately rather than treating “nicotine-free” as a description of every ingredient.
What should you compare before buying?
- Ingredients and amounts. Read the complete ingredient list and the stated quantities. Check whether a number refers to one pouch or the recommended daily portion. Our guide to ingredient amounts and NRV explains the terms.
- Directions. Check where to place the pouch, how long to use it and the stated daily amount. Directions for one brand do not establish the directions for another.
- Count and cost. Compare the number of pouches, the total payable and delivery costs. A cheaper tin may contain fewer pouches; a larger order may cost less per pouch but more upfront.
- One-time purchase or subscription. Check whether you are paying once or agreeing to repeat orders, and read the renewal terms before checkout.
- Availability. An in-stock product and a pre-order have different delivery expectations. Check when you are charged, when dispatch is planned and how cancellation works.
- Who is responsible for the product. Look for clear business contact details and accessible product information.
What is kip Quiet Mint?
kip is the wind-down pouch: a nicotine-free, mint-flavoured oral pouch for an evening routine. Quiet Mint is our first flavour, with 20 pouches per tin. The name describes the occasion we are building it around, not a promised physical effect.
Our specified formula includes L-theanine, chamomile extract, lemon balm extract, magnesium and vitamin B6. The Quiet Mint product details list the individual amounts. These featured ingredients are not the complete ingredient declaration; the final label and production paperwork are still being completed before dispatch.

How do you use a kip pouch?
- Place one pouch between your upper lip and gum.
- Leave it in place for up to 30 minutes.
- Remove it and put it in a bin.
Do not chew or swallow the pouch. Follow the directions on the tin and do not exceed the stated daily amount. These are kip's current use directions; check the instructions on any other product separately.
Can you buy kip without a subscription?
Yes. At the time of this update, one tin is £22.99 as a one-time purchase, with free UK standard delivery. It contains 20 pouches, so the price is approximately £1.15 per pouch. This is a cost comparison, not a suggested daily serving or a promise of a particular number of days' use.

kip is taking pre-orders. Check the current planned dispatch wording on the product page before ordering. You are charged at checkout and can request a full refund any time before dispatch. A production slot is not a delivery date; we will confirm dispatch information as the first release progresses.
